If you are considering a vacation to the beautiful island of Barbados, let me assist you with your plans. I started my career in the Airline Industry more than 50 years ago. As an airline employee and up to the present time, I visited Barbados nearly as many times and always rented a “Mini Moke” vehicle to explore the entire island as I watched it change over the years.

I have had a very interesting and rewarding career in the Airline Industry starting at Air Canada in 1970 as a Station Attendant (known then as a ramp rat) before moving quickly through the company in Station Operations Control as a Telecom Agent and Gate Planner; a Certifified Load Agent on the 747, 727, L1011, DC8 and DC9; and then into management in 1978. In 1986 I moved over to their regional carrier Air Ontario based in London where I became the “Director of Airport Operations” responsible for all 11 airports served Air Ontario in Canada plus four stations in the USA..
In 2000 I was recruited to start up Canjet Airlines at Toronto before it was purchased by Canada 3000 Airlines where I was the Director of Ground Operations. In 2002 I became Director of Operations for Toronto's newer Terminal 3 until 2007, finally leaving aviation to become Director of Transportation at the Canadian Cancer Society.

My career path has helped my provide unique insights and the ability to bring  attention to detail when assisting with planning vacations. You can contact me at brucemaxim@510travel.com
