I hope your journey with Cunard is as wonderful as mine were. I loved my cruises with Cunard, I met wonderful guests speakers, explorers, a concord pilot (I flew on the concord), Richard Dreyfus and have a Cambridge University lecture series certificate from the transatlantic cruise.
I have had the pleasure of sailing on 4 Cunard voyages, enjoying both the QE2 and Queen Mary. Two of my voyages were transatlantic, the others, Eastern Canada/ USA and the Norwegian fjords. The Queen Mary, being an ocean liner, my journeys were calm sailing.
My days and nights onboard were filled with activities including discovering past Cunard memorabilia throughout the ship, daily activity programs, world class entertainment, guest speakers, and a planetarium on the Queen Mary. When in port, the optional excursions highlighted the culture of the country.
I like to describe my journey with Cunard as Iconic Elegance, experiencing the Cunard tradition of white glove British afternoon tea and formal evenings with a variety of first class dining venues. Cunard also offers dining venues for those who wish a more casual atmosphere, but I encourage everyone to embrace the tradition. I'm looking forward to discovering the Queen Victoria.

Another one of my favourite vacations was aboard the Scenic Opal river cruise. My recent holiday took me on the Scenic Opal down the Rhine River and a few years earlier, on the Scenic Jade down the Danube. Scenic cruise are truly "Ultra Luxury". Everything was included from amazing cuisine and evening entertainment frequently reflective of the region we were visiting, premium beverages throughout the day, and a variety of tours in each port.
I have also had the opportunity to cruise throughout other parts of Europe, the Caribbean, Panama Canal and Alaska (4 times). Although cruising is my favourite type of holiday, I have experience with land tours in 5 continents.
